Charlie Hudson, U.S. Army Retired, born in Arkansas and raised in Louisiana, relocated to Homestead with her husband, Hugh, also retired Army. She writes fiction, non-fiction, and still has a few clients on the technical writing side. They selected Homestead because her husband’s “second career” is scuba instructor and although she loves to dive, it is only for pleasure. Her two lines of mysteries – the “Shades” series, and the Chris Green series are scuba-themed.
Her “Small Town” series has a quilting theme and she has written three other stand-alone novels. Her non-fiction ranges from marine-related to an important book about aging.
