Reginald Henry began painting at the age of thirteen; he is now fifty-six years old, married, and is the father of three children. In his work, Reggie wishes to convey the message that "I want the world now" and there is a better life ahead. Totally self-taught "this is a big feeling for me...to see that I can create things with colors, or light, and make them turn into a masterpiece. Anytime work is done, it is a masterpiece, and a part of my spirit, and a part of me. "Reggie views himself as a "receiver", and through his art transmits what he hears and sees to the world. "I feel excited when I stand up in front of my work and look. The feeling that I have is hard to explain. To me, painting is colors and shapes, and from there they bring the light out of it. *I thank GOD for the gift that he gave me, to share his love with others."
