Annie is an artist whose Cuban/Venezuelan blood flows with an unparalleled passion for painting. As a child, she dedicated endless hours to creating posters for the school classrooms she attended. That love for creation led her to study Graphic Design in Caracas, Venezuela, in later years.

Despite the difficulties faced by the vast majority of immigrants, after her arrival in the United States in 1999, she never abandoned her passion for art. In 2000, she studied “Mural Art” at Miami-Dade College. From 2001 to 2003, Annie dedicated herself to painting murals on commission, while continuing to work in the world of graphic design and marketing for many years.

In 2020, during the forced lockdown due to the COVID pandemic, Annie felt the need to paint again and began doing so on some cheese boards she had at home. She was moved by people’s response to seeing their big smiles, at a time when the world needed to start filling up with joy again. Since then, her creations have been exhibited at art and craft fairs in Miami and commissioned throughout the United States.

Annie’s vision has been to create art that makes people smile and feel happy to have it in their homes. Her creations are a manifestation of her desire to share her joy and passion for life with others, inspiring them to find their own source of happiness and creativity in the world around us.

With each piece she creates, Annie leaves a piece of herself and her heart.

NENAS by Annie: These exquisite artworks are crafted from laser-cut and engraved wood, taking on the shape of charming "Cafeteras" or beautiful "Nenas". Each piece is meticulously hand-painted and finished with a layer of resin, creating a stunning and unique addition to any art collection.
