Oscar Esteban Martinez is a fine arts artist.
He was born in Pasto, Colombia where he studied fine arts at the University of Nariño, then he settled in the city of Cali where he developed all of his artistic proposals, first from sculpture and later with drawing and painting.
From a very young age, he showed his interest in the arts, linked to all the processes of the Carnival de Negros y Blancos, and the artistic tradition of his family. He has always been interested in the human being, as a social being and his relationship with nature, a crucial element in his work.
Since the 90s he has participated in different artistic events in his country and approximately 10 years ago he has built a growing international career that has taken him to several countries in South, Central and North America where he has obtained different recognitions, not only for his creations but also for his workshops, this because he also loves to teach.
