Mimi is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, having received her degree in fine arts. Her formal training has been enhanced by participation in numerous workshops and painting expeditions throughout the country. By exploring various media, techniques and styles of painting, her own personal expressions have
been enlarged. While living in the New York area, she participated in numerous exhibitions and continued showing in a variety of venues in South Florida. For her, a drawing starts as a one-to-one personal thought based upon an idea or personal experience. As the composition unfolds, the shape, texture, colors and values begin a silent dialogue with mind and brush. This is the involvement with her work that she constantly seeks to attain. Her hope with all her works is that you, the viewer, will find a personal relationship with one of her them and will be provided with a moment of pleasure and satisfaction. Her works are in private collections from New England to Florida as well as the United Kingdom and Germany. She has been previously featured as an “Artist in the Spotlight” at the Seminole Theatre.
