Barbara Livieri has lived in Homestead for nearly 20 years, moving here from the snowy tundra of Wisconsin in 1999. She enjoys nature and travel and after a trip to the Everglades Shark Valley, became interested in photography. Shortly after the South Florida National Parks Camera Club was founded, she found it, and her photography blossomed.
Barbara is now the secretary for the camera club that she loves dearly, and enjoys the Everglades and Biscayne, as well as all of our National Parks, State Parks, and regional parks. "Our public spaces need to be revered and I like to show them in the best possible light." In her travels she seeks them out and tries to do them justice with her camera.
