General Info:
Born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Moved to United States in 1967 and, lived in Boston, Massachusetts for 36 years, where she worked as a Business Manager. Has lived in South Florida since 2004.
From an early age, Ada was inclined to Art, Drawing, bright colors, art books. Etc. When most girls her age asked for dolls and tea sets for Christmas, she was happy with coloring pencils and Temperas.
Has been working with Torn Paper Collage for eight years. Attracted to this technique because of its uniqueness and the fact that no two pieces can be the same. Her technique has evolved through the years as a result of experimenting, trial and error, textures, as well as creating her own collage papers.
