The purpose of Homestead Main Street is to enhance, communicate, and promote our community identity and heritage, to foster a center of commercial and social activity, and to ensure economic stability and future growth for the downtown Main Street District
Our mission is to present outstanding, professional entertainers to our South Florida community at reasonable ticket prices. As we begin our 38th year we look forward to engaging our growing diverse population, and we hope you will be pleased with the performers and music we have chosen for the 2017-18 season.
We have the combination of quality education and love for what we do. We teach with patience, great technique and dedication. All these qualities that we bring to Homestead City Ballet, is after 40 years of experience that we have learned through out of life as dancers, choreographers and teachers.
The Historic Homestead Town Hall Museum, across from Losner Park on Krome Avenue, was the first municipal building in Homestead, Florida.
The GFWC Woman’s Club of Homestead is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an international woman’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
Between Us Foundation is a non-profit organization created for the purpose of enhancing the value of women and work for their welfare in different roles assumed today organization. Through its growth programs it has impacted entire families, which today bear witness to how their lives have been transformed by the valuable lessons they have received through the work that this group of women has done in the community.
The Florida Pioneer Museum is a historic site in Florida City, Florida, United States. It was founded in 1962 with the donation of antique vehicles and tools by a group of civic-minded women. On August 14, 1973, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The Goal of our society is to educate ourselves and the general public in the classification, evolution and propagation, culture, care, and development of the cultural and economic importance of orchids;
As community artists, we aim to observe and identify challenges in the communities in which we live, create ways to bring people together through the arts, and help solve problems with practical solutions. As new residents of Homestead, Florida, we were enchanted by the many farms and nurseries in our subtropical town.
