The Children’s Gallery & Arts Center, Inc. is a nonprofit organization 501 ( C ) (3) for the visual and the performing arts, created with the main purpose of promoting arts education and cultural engagement as ways of giving voice and choices to every person in our community, regardless of their circumstances.
We have an atelier as a functional place to create arts, and a professional fine art gallery in which artists and students exhibit their work. Our mission is to enrich the quality of living of our community through the engagement in arts education, involvement and observation, in addition to act as a support network for artists of all mediums.
All our programs contain diverse creative activities designed to reduce risk factors, to develop physical, mental and social skills while keeping our cultural heritage, and our pride of being part of a diverse community with many traditions. We provide opportunities for individuals of all ages and also families to learn important new skills while recognizing the relevance of the arts and cultural enrichment as part of community growth. By taking these actions, we are creating opportunities for better academic and personal development, and by facilitating the community with free access to our creative and cultural activities, we are expanding the reach of the arts to a broader audience.
